The oak tabernacle-temple is made in the shape of a church with five domes crowned with crosses. Its edges are adorned with multi-figure carved reliefs on gospel themes, while twisted columns, acanthus ornamentation, and a carved base are highlighted with gilding. The combination of noble oak with gilded accents makes the product solemn but not overly bright. Two sizes are available: 55x55x105 cm and 75x75x120 cm.

About the Product

The tabernacle, or sacrarium, is designed for the reverent storage of the Holy Gifts on the altar. The shape of the five-domed temple reminds us that this is a small house of the Lord, where the central dome symbolizes Christ, and the four smaller ones point to the evangelists. The multi-figure reliefs on the edges transform the tabernacle into a kind of carved book that tells the gospel story. The gilding here does not cover the entire product but only highlights the ornament and decorative details, allowing the carving of the oak to remain in the foreground.

Manufacturing Traditions

The tabernacle is manually created by the masters of the creative workshop of sacred products PIVTORAK & COMPANY in Kosiv, Ivano-Frankivsk region. The most complex part of the work falls on the multi-figure reliefs: each scene is gradually carved from oak, from the overall composition to the smallest details of faces and clothing. After assembling the structure, the selected elements of the ornamentation are covered with gilding, giving the product a festive appearance while preserving the noble beauty of the wood.

Care

• Protect the product from moisture, condensation, and sharp temperature fluctuations.
• Do not place near heaters and do not leave it under direct sunlight.
• Dust from the recesses of the carving should be removed with a soft brush.
• Gilded elements should be wiped only with a dry soft cloth, without water or cleaning agents.
• Do not use aggressive chemicals, solvents, or abrasive materials.

The wood tells the Gospel, and the gold quietly shines above it, like a lamp above the reading.
