Light women's bast shoes — original handmade leather footwear, made using weaving and burning techniques. The production of Hutsul bast shoes requires considerable experience and great effort: the leather is soaked in a solution of salty water with added spruce bark, changing the solution every two weeks. Only after such prolonged preparation is the leather ready for sewing.

Why making bast shoes takes so long
One can only imagine the patience and perseverance required to perform such work. The leather is soaked in wooden or plastic barrels with a solution of salty water and spruce bark — it is this prolonged treatment that gives the bast shoes their characteristic strength and durability, which cannot be achieved by faster methods.

Care for the product
- Protect the leather from prolonged contact with moisture.
- After wearing in wet weather, dry naturally, away from heating batteries.
- Periodically treat with cream for natural leather.
- Store in a dry, ventilated place.
