Warranty, exchange, and return of goods — HUCUL.if.ua

General Provisions

The rules regulate the procedure for the exchange and return of goods purchased in the online store hucul.if.ua. The document is drawn up in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Consumer Rights Protection" No. 1023-XII, Civil Code of Ukraine (Articles 707, 708), and Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 172 dated March 19, 1994. The conditions apply to all customers in Ukraine and cover all categories of goods in our assortment — Hutsul handmade products, home textiles, decorative fabrics, embroidered shirts, products made of wood, leather, willow, and ceramics.

Exchange Conditions

The exchange of non-food products of proper quality is possible within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt if the product:

  • Has not been used (no signs of use)
  • Retains its commercial appearance, consumer properties, original packaging
  • Has intact seals, labels, tags
  • Is accompanied by a sales document (receipt, invoice, electronic fiscal receipt)

Reasons for Exchange

You can exchange the product if it does not fit: in shape, color, size, dimensions, style, configuration.

Products Not Subject to Exchange

According to Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 172, the list of goods of proper quality that are not subject to exchange includes specific items from our assortment:

Exchange Procedure

  1. Call +38 067 801 80 40 or write to uahucul@gmail.com within 14 days from the date of receipt
  2. Provide the order number and describe the reason for the exchange
  3. The manager will select an alternative product and inform you of the price difference (if any)
  4. Send the product via "Nova Poshta" to our address: Kosiv, Ivano-Frankivsk region
  5. After receiving and checking the product, we will send you a new one

Return of Goods of Proper Quality

If the product does not suit you, and an exchange is not possible (no alternative in the store), you have the right to return the product within 14 days and receive a full refund.

Return of Goods of Improper Quality

If a manufacturing defect is found (not caused by the buyer's actions), you have the right to demand:

  • Proportional reduction of the price — keep the product at a discount
  • Replacement with a similar product without defects
  • Termination of the contract and full refund

Q: How long does it take to process a return request?
A: We process the request within 1 working day. After receiving and checking the product, the funds are refunded within 1–7 banking days.

Q: Can I return a product purchased on sale or with a discount?
A: Yes, promotional items can be returned under general conditions. A discount does not deprive the consumer of their rights.

Q: What should I do if I lost the receipt?
A: We keep all electronic fiscal receipts in our database. Just provide your phone number or order number — we will provide a duplicate.

Q: Do you refund for custom-made products?
A: Custom orders are not subject to return (Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 172). The exception is a manufacturer's defect; in this case, we will replace or refund.

Q: Where should I send the product for return?
A: Do not send it yourself. First, contact us — we will provide the exact address of the "Nova Poshta" branch and a contact person.

Q: Can I return a product without explanation?
A: Yes. Within 14 days, you can return the product without explanation if it is undamaged and has not been used.
