The handmade alder tabernacle is designed for the respectful storage of the Holy Gifts on the altar of the church. The product is made from alder wood, and the color is agreed upon with the customer individually to ensure that the tabernacle harmoniously matches the iconostasis and other altar furnishings. Two sizes are available: 55x55x105 cm and 75x75x120 cm.

Purpose of the product

The tabernacle is placed on the altar and preserves the consecrated Gifts, which the priest takes to sick and infirm parishioners. The ability to agree on the color makes this model especially convenient for churches that already have a formed altar ensemble: the product can be made in the tone of the altar, iconostasis, or other church furniture. The tabernacle is made to order, taking into account the size of the altar and the wishes of the parish.

Manufacturing traditions

The tabernacle is handmade by the masters of the creative workshop of sacred products PIVTORAK & COMPANY in the city of Kosiv, Ivano-Frankivsk region. Carpathian alder has long been used by local carpenters and carvers, and the masters know well how to reveal its potential. Before starting work, they choose the size and color together with the parish, and then step by step create a product worthy of a place on the altar.

• Protect the product from excessive moisture and sharp temperature fluctuations.
• Do not place near heaters and do not leave in direct sunlight to prevent color fading.
• Dust can be removed with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth.
• Periodically treat the surface with a wood furniture care product.
• Avoid aggressive chemicals, solvents, and abrasive materials.
