The gilded tabernacle-temple is designed in the shape of a church with five domes topped with crosses. On the doors is a relief image of Christ the Almighty, while twisted columns and carved ornamentation enhance the solemn appearance of the piece. The tabernacle is made of alder wood and is completely adorned with gold leaf (mirror gold). Two sizes are available: 55x55x105 cm and 75x75x120 cm.

About the Product

The shape of the temple has long been one of the most revered for a tabernacle: it reminds us that the Lord Himself is present on the altar, for whom this small house is built. The five-dome composition, where the central dome symbolizes Christ and the four smaller ones around it remind us of the evangelists, gives the piece a profound theological meaning. The image of Christ the Almighty on the doors faces the faithful, and the solid gold leaf makes the tabernacle a center of light in the altar.

Manufacturing Traditions

The tabernacle is handcrafted by artisans of the creative workshop of sacred products PIVTORAK & COMPANY in the city of Kosiv, Ivano-Frankivsk region. A product of such complexity requires coordinated work: first, domes, columns, ornamentation, and relief images are cut from alder, then the details are assembled into a single structure, and only after that do the artisans cover each element with thin sheets of gold leaf. Thus, a piece is born that combines the ancient Kosiv school of carving and the solemn beauty of temple art.

Care

• Protect the product from moisture, condensation, and sharp temperature fluctuations.
• Do not place near heaters and do not leave it under direct sunlight.
• Dust from the gilding should only be removed with a dry soft cloth or a soft brush, especially in the recesses of the carving.
• Do not use water, alcohol solutions, aggressive chemicals, or abrasives.
• Avoid touching gilded surfaces unnecessarily to prevent fingerprints.
