“When the tree absorbs the light of gold, the wall between the altar and the people becomes a window to the sky”
This two-tiered iconostasis was made by Pivtorak & Company for the church in the village of Khmilno in the Lviv region, consecrated on February 16, 2025. The frame and openwork carving are made of alder, and the gilding is done using the leaf method with mirror gold. The deep reflection of the gilding combines with the natural texture of the wood, setting a solemn rhythm for the church space.

About the Product
Royal Gates are the heart of the composition. Their carved structure is covered with gilded ornamentation, and round medallions feature icons of the Annunciation and the four Evangelists.
Main Tier unites icons of the Mother of God with the Child and Jesus Christ the Savior, as well as images of saints and archangels on the deacon's gates. Each icon is framed with gilded carved arches and columns adorned with floral ornamentation. The lower base panels are decorated with volumetric carving, providing stability and integrity to the structure.
Festive Tier contains icons of the Twelve Great Feasts. Above the Royal Gates, in the very center, is the composition “The Last Supper” in a gilded cartouche.
The openwork floral ornamentation lightens the perception of the monumental structure. Price — from 29,250 UAH per 1 m². The final cost depends on the dimensions of the altar wall of the specific church. Manufacturing time is 2 months, depending on complexity.
