The chest decoration "Zharada 010" is one of the oldest Hutsul chest decorations, made of brass using casting and engraving techniques. The composition combines rhythmic rows of solar symbols that symbolize a connection to ancient tradition.

About the Product

Zhardas are among the oldest Hutsul chest decorations. In terms of composition, it is a complex system that combines one or several rhythmic-plastic rows of various solar symbols, strung on "chains," straps, etc., spaced apart by "perelyzhky" and connected by "chepragy." The compositional center often features a larger equilateral cross that unites all others, sometimes smaller crosses.
