About the product

Zgardas are among the oldest Hutsul chest ornaments. In terms of composition, it is a complex system that combines one or several rhythmic-plastic rows of various solar signs, strung on "chains," straps, etc., spaced apart by "crossbars" and connected by "links." The compositional center is often a larger equilateral cross that unites all others, sometimes smaller crosses.
