Chest decoration "Zgharda 09"

Zghardy are among the oldest chest ornaments of the Hutsul people. Tectonically, it is a complex compositional system that combines one or several rhythmically plastic rows of various solar signs, strung on "retizky", straps, etc., placed at a distance from each other by "perelyzhok" and connected by "chepragy". The compositional center is often a larger equilateral cross that unites all the others, sometimes progressively smaller crosses.
