The chest decoration "Zgharda 05" is one of the oldest Hutsul chest ornaments, made of brass using casting and engraving techniques. The composition unites rhythmic rows of solar symbols that symbolize a connection to ancient tradition.

About the Product

Zghardas are among the oldest Hutsul chest ornaments. In terms of composition, it is a complex system that combines one or several rhythmic-plastic rows of various solar symbols, strung on "retiazky", straps, etc., placed at a distance of "perelyzhok" from each other and connected by "chepragy". The compositional center is often a larger equilateral cross that unites all others, sometimes smaller crosses.
