Chest decoration "Zgharda 012"

Zghardas are one of the oldest chest ornaments of the Hutsuls. Tectonically, it is a complex compositional system that combines one or several rhythmically plastic rows of various solar signs, strung on "retizkas," straps, etc., placed at a distance from each other by "perelyzhoks" and connected by "cheprags." The compositional center is often a larger equilateral cross that unites all the others, sometimes progressively smaller crosses.
