The tabernacle-temple with the Eucharistic Chalice is made of alder wood in the shape of a church with five domes topped with crosses. The doors are carved with a Chalice bearing the seal of IС ХС НІКА framed by acanthus ornamentation, while the side panel is adorned with a multi-figure carved scene featuring the image of the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove. The twisted columns, cornices, and ornamentation are highlighted with gold leaf, which distinctly shines against the dark tone of the wood. Two sizes are available: 55x55x105 cm and 75x75x120 cm.

About the Product

The tabernacle, or sacramental storage, is designed for the respectful storage of the Holy Gifts on the altar. In this model, all symbolism is subordinated to the Eucharist: the doors depict a Chalice, above which is the seal of IС ХС НІКА, which translates to "Jesus Christ conquers" and is traditionally stamped on the prosphora for the Lamb. The scene with the image of the Holy Spirit on the side panel reminds us of His action in the sacrament, while the five-domed shape of the temple, where the central dome symbolizes Christ and the four smaller ones represent the evangelists, completes the theological content of the product.

Manufacturing Traditions

The tabernacle is handcrafted by the masters of the creative workshop of sacred products PIVTORAK & COMPANY in Kosiv, Ivano-Frankivsk region. First, domes, columns, ornamentation, and carved scenes are cut from alder, then the structure is assembled and toned, and in the final stage, selected elements are covered with gold leaf. Each detail of the symbolism, from the letters of the seal above the Chalice to the figures in the scene with the Holy Spirit, is processed by hand with respect for church tradition.

Care

• Protect the product from moisture, condensation, and sharp temperature changes.
• Do not place near heaters and do not leave under direct sunlight to prevent fading of the wood tone.
• Dust from the recesses of the carving should be removed with a soft brush.
• Gilded elements should be wiped only with a dry soft cloth, without water or cleaning agents.
• Avoid using aggressive chemicals, solvents, and abrasive materials.
