“White lace carving on dark wood — like frost on branches reaching for the sky”
The iconostasis for the church in the city of Khotyn is a creative work by the workshop Pivtorak & Company. Here, the craftsmen rejected gold and built the image on contrast: a frame made of dark-toned alder and snow-white lace carving. Above the center of the iconostasis rises a large arch with icons in round medallions, echoing the painted vault of the church.

About the Product
The Central Arch is the most expressive element of the composition. Icons in round medallions with white carved framing are placed along its arc, with “The Last Supper” at the top, and above it rises a white lace cross.
The Royal Gates feature lace carving that forms the silhouette of a cross, with round medallions of icons.
The Side Rows flanking the gates consist of icons of the Virgin Mary with Child and Christ with the Gospel, with images of saints at the edges. Smaller images in carved white frames are placed under the side icons.
Twisted Columns at the edges of the iconostasis and thin columns between sections are made white, while the lower panels are adorned with white carved rosettes on a dark background.
The cost is calculated by area: from 29,250 UAH per 1 m², the final amount depends on the sizes and complexity of the composition. The manufacturing period is 2 months, depending on complexity.
