About the Product

The altar is made by the masters of the creative workshop of sacred products PIVTORAK & COMPANY in the town of Kosiv, Ivano-Frankivsk region. Arched compositions and plant motifs have deep roots in church art: the vine and leaves symbolize life in Christ. The masters combine these images with their own experience of working with wood, so each panel is carved by hand, not reproduced from a template.
Care
- Maintain a stable humidity indoors, without sharp temperature changes.
- Do not place the altar near heating batteries or in direct sunlight.
- Dust from the recesses of the carving should be brushed away with a soft brush.
- Wipe smooth surfaces with a dry cotton cloth.
- Every few years, refresh the finish with wax or wood oil.
