The Hutsul sarak “Verkhovynsky 2” is a type of shoulder clothing with sleeves, made from wool in a tunic-like cut. It is decorated along the collar, front, hem, and sleeve edges with twisted cord in the form of appliqué, embroidery, or pom-pom knots.

Cut Features
The sarak has small slits or wedges on the sides, straight, quite wide sleeves, and a low standing or turned-down collar. Men's saraks are traditionally shorter than women's.
