The Hutsul vest “Festive” is a sleeveless garment traditionally worn by the population of the Carpathians and Pre-Carpathians. Handcrafted from cashmere and natural wool threads, it combines four traditional techniques: furriery, sewing, embroidery, and weaving.

Design Styles
The vest has various options regarding length and design. Characteristic is the symmetrical placement of decor with a preference for geometric ornamentation. It is made in different regional styles: Kosiv, Kosmach, Verkhovyna, and Nadvirna — each of which has its own pattern features.
