The board shown in the photo is used not only for playing chess but also for backgammon.To provide the pieces and the board with the necessary functionality, metal fittings are also used in their manufacture, in addition to wood. The necessary carvings for playing backgammon are presented on the inner side of the board. The chips, just like the pieces, are lined with velvet so that the polished surface of the varnished board is not damaged. The diameter of the base of the piece is 4 cm.The chess pieces have the following heights: queen - 12.5 cm; Cossack on horseback, also known as knight - 11.5 cm; Cossack, also known as pawn - 10 cm; hetman, also known as king - 13 cm; centurion, also known as bishop - 11 cm; church, also known as rook - 10.5 cm.
