Vasyl Perehinets: an embodiment of talent and inspiration

Perehinec Vasyl Ivanovych

Perehinec Vasyl Ivanovych was born in the village of Novytsia in the Kalush district of Ivano-Frankivsk region. He graduated from the Kosiv College of Folk Arts named after V. Kasiian and the Lviv National Academy of Arts with a degree in "Artistic Ceramics".

Since 1995, he has been a lecturer in drawing and painting at the Kosiv College of Applied and Decorative Arts in the department of artistic painting.

Since 1996, he has been the head of the artistic painting department at the Kosiv College of PDM.

Since 2000, he has been the head of the monumental-decorative painting department at the Kosiv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts.

Since 2006, he has been a senior lecturer at the Department of Fine Arts at KIPDM LNAM.

A candidate for a scientific degree at the postgraduate school of the Lviv National Academy of Arts.

V. Perehinec has implemented over 20 projects in the field of interior decoration with stained glass and author fireplaces. He is the author of the exterior painting of the Museum of Pysanka Painting in Kolomyia.

He works creatively in the field of stained glass, easel painting, and ceramics, as well as experimental ceramics. From 2003 to 2012, he conducted ceramics master classes at the MDC "Artek" in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and from 2013 to 2019, he held master classes at "EUROPA-PARK" in Rust, Germany.

He is a participant in international, all-Ukrainian, regional, and local exhibitions. Personal exhibitions: 2006 - at the Museum of Folk Art of Hutsulshchyna and Pokuttia, 2016 - at the Museum of Folk Art of Hutsulshchyna and Pokuttia, Museum and Exhibition Center of the Kalush City Council, 2017.

In the same year, he had a personal exhibition at the Ivano-Frankivsk Art Museum. In 2020, he held a personal exhibition at the Museum of Ethnography and Ecology of the Carpathian Region in Yaremche.

For many years of diligent work, he has been awarded certificates from the Ministry of Education, the Regional State Administration, the District State Administration, the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine, the Silver Badge of the Lviv National Academy of Arts, the "Excellence in Education" badge, and the "Vasyl Sukhomlynskyi" badge.

The artist's works are in private collections in Ukraine, Poland, Germany, France, and China.
