We present the Ukrainian national costume “Mavka” — a true work of folk art that reflects a deep connection with nature and cultural traditions. The costume is created based on the image of a mythological creature, whose attire celebrates vegetation, flowers, and other elements of the environment.

Why “Mavka”

The shirt “Embroidered Song” is made of natural linen-hemp, long, with ruffles on the sleeves and embroidery passed down from generation to generation. The embroidered cuff fastens with a button, and the neckline has ties with tassels. The sea wave colored satin skirt — between blue and green — is decorated with contrasting velvet ribbons; the matte sheen of the fabric adds a festive touch to the look. The skirt is gathered with pleats, and the belt with buttons on both sides allows for size adjustment of +/- 1 size, while the long belt included emphasizes the waist and adds harmony to the entire look.
