Why Svarha

The sign of the rotating sun has been known in the Carpathians for ages: it was carved on beams and chests, written on Easter eggs, and embroidered on shirts. The curved rays convey movement — the rise and fall, the wheel of the year from the winter solstice to the summer. Therefore, Svarha has long been perceived as a sign of warmth, renewal, and life force. In this pendant, the symbol is presented concisely: a pure circle, an even rhythm of rays, and a convex core in the center, which can easily be imagined as the sun itself.
