“The Christmas sardak waits for the holiday all year long, just as the mountains wait for the first snow”
The Hutsul sardak “Christmas” is a type of shoulder garment with sleeves, handmade from cashmere and natural wool threads. It combines two techniques: embroidery and weaving. It is adorned with twisted cord in the form of appliqué or pom-pom knots along the collar, flaps, hem, and sleeve edges.
