Avoid heated floors — high temperatures dry out the fleece.

Do the hides have a distinctive odor? ❯: We use high-quality tanning techniques, so our hides have only a light, barely perceptible natural scent that quickly fades after unpacking.
Can you wash a sheepskin? ❯: We recommend dry cleaning only. For heavy soiling, gentle hand washing in cool water with special wool detergents is acceptable, without vigorous wringing.
Are the hides hypoallergenic? ❯: For example, natural sheep's wool contains lanolin—a natural antiseptic that inhibits bacterial growth and is safe for most people.
How do I care for the pile so it doesn't mat? ❯: Shake out the coat regularly (1–2 times a week) and brush the fur with a special metal brush to maintain its volume and softness.
Can I place a fur rug on a heated floor? ❯: We do not recommend this. Constant exposure to high temperatures can dry out the core, causing it to crack.
Do new products shed lint? ❯: A slight shedding of the “undercoat” may occur only in the first few days after unpacking, as this consists of loose fibers left over from shearing. After that, the pile remains firmly in place.
Does every hide look like the one in the photo? ❯: Since this is a natural product, each hide has a unique shape, color, and pile density. You are getting an exclusive item crafted by nature.
Can animal skins be used as furniture covers? ❯: Of course! It's a great way not only to decorate your home but also to protect your furniture from wear and tear and make it more comfortable.
How should I store a hide in the summer? ❯: Store it in a dry place with good air circulation. Avoid plastic bags—it’s better to use cotton covers and add moth repellents.
