This is the feeling that the Hutsul carpet “Warmth of the Hut” gives you from The Workshop of Hutsul Carpets.
Hut is a wooden mountain dwelling of shepherds in the glade. Inside, there is a hearth, wooden benches, sheep wool, the smell of juniper and smoke. This is the atmosphere of simplicity, warmth, and naturalness that we have “transferred” into the pattern of this carpet. Therefore, it fits especially organically in bedrooms with log walls, chalets, green tourism estates, and modern interiors with an emphasis on wood and linen.
The composition is built on vertical stripes of varying widths, between which the master wove stylized “hook” motifs, rhombuses, and serrated ribbons — classic symbols of Hutsul weaving. The creamy background “reveals” a warm earthy palette: wine-burgundy, ochre, honey mustard, olive green, dark blue, and chocolate. No color accent “shouts” — all are combined with a calm creamy field, like flowers blooming among dry grass at the end of summer.

The dyes used by the workshop have high lightfastness. However, like any natural fabric, it is better to avoid direct sunlight through a south-facing window — this will preserve the richness of colors for decades.
The best way is dry cleaning or careful hand washing in cool water with a gentle wool detergent. Do not wring; dry horizontally, in a spread-out form. For daily care — vacuum on the lowest power without a brush attachment.
