Tradition and modernity

The Brass Workshop in Kosiv continues the ancient tradition of making chepragas — important connecting elements of Hutsul chest ornaments. In zghards and necklaces, chepragas rhythmically connect rows of beads and crosses, positioned between "perelyzhkas". Each chepraga is not only a functional element but also a carrier of traditional ornamentation passed down from generation to generation.

Care

  • Store the product in a dry place, away from direct sunlight
  • Clean with a soft damp cloth — no need for special agents
  • Avoid prolonged contact with water and chemicals
  • When the brass base tarnishes, rub it with a coarse cloth — denim or felt
