Material and Manufacturing

The pendant is cast from Italian brass “Pandora” and finished in the Brass Workshop in Kosiv. There is no galvanic coating: the golden tone comes from the alloy itself, so over time, it will not peel off. The casting clearly conveys the small dots-grains, the even edges of the pyramids, and the thin rays of the stars.

The composition is held on an elongated ribbed loop. The upper diamond with two stars is the main accent, while the three lower pendants made of pyramids and small diamonds create a light cascade. The dimensions of the decoration are 36 × 30 mm, so it is noticeable but not heavy.

The Brass Workshop in Kosiv continues this line in a modern way. In the pendant “Spirit of Christmas,” the cascade of pendants resembles ancient jingles, while the eight-pointed star combines the old Hutsul symbol with Christmas iconography.
