Sheep wool is first washed and dried, then combed with a comb to a fluffy state and twisted into a roving for the loom. The woven fabric is immersed in "valilo" — there, water under pressure rotates the fabric for several hours until it becomes tight and fluffy. Only after this is the blanket dried on rods and brushed for final softness.
