From wool to finished blanket

The sheep wool is first washed, dried, and carded with a special comb — this creates a fluffy ball from which threads for the loom are spun. The woven fabric undergoes traditional felting: in "valyli," a powerful stream of water rotates the fabric for several hours, making it tight and dense. After this, the blanket is dried on rods and brushed for final softness.

Care

Air out in fresh air once a season, avoiding direct sunlight.

Clean dry or with delicate hand washing in cool water.

Dry in a laid-out form, away from heating batteries.
