The wool from Carpathian sheep is washed, dried, and carded with a comb — this forms a fluffy ball from which threads for the loom are spun. The woven fabric is immersed in "valilo", where a powerful stream of water rotates the fabric for several hours, making it tight and dense. After that, the blanket is dried on rods and brushed for final softness.

Airing outdoors once a season, avoiding direct sunlight.

Clean with a dry method or delicate hand washing in cool water.

Dry in a laid-out form, away from heating batteries.
