Materials and technologies: Hutsul beds are made according to traditional bed-making technologies. For this, natural sheep's wool is used, which is collected from sheep that graze on the Carpathian meadows. Woolen base is also used to create the base of the bed. The "felting" process (felting): After weaving, the new product is sent to a special device, the felting. This wooden trough tapers downward, and then a stream of water falls through it with great force. The stream of water gushes up, forming a large whirlpool in which the sleepers "roll". This process makes the beds tight and fluffy.
Additional processing and drying: After "felting", the beds are dried on poles, brushed with a brush to loosen the fibers and ensure softness and fluffiness.
