The hand-forged axe “Alycheva” is an exclusive item born out of the master’s respect for those whom they cannot refuse. The solid-forged head, hardened blade, engraving with ornamentation, and oak handle with copper-iron weaving make this axe a work of art rather than a mass-produced item.

About the product

The head of the axe is solid-forged from St3 steel, with a welded blade made of U11A steel, polished and decorated with engraving and ornamentation, followed by thermal bluing. The handle is made of oak — charred, treated with brushing technique, and coated with linseed oil, which emphasizes the natural texture of the wood. An additional decorative and protective element is the weaving of sheet copper (0.2 mm) and iron wire (0.5 mm). The total weight of the product is 1080 g including the sheath, and the height is 86 cm.

This is not a mass-produced item, but a handcrafted work that the master creates for those they cannot refuse — that is why every detail, from forging to engraving, is executed with special attention.

Care for the product

• Wipe the metal parts with a dry soft cloth after use.
• Periodically renew the coating of the oak handle with linseed oil to maintain its appearance.
• Avoid prolonged contact with moisture — the copper elements of the weaving may develop patina over time.
• Do not use aggressive household chemicals for cleaning.
• Store in the sheath, in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.
