The hand cross "Polonynska Prayer" is a symbol of Orthodox faith, crafted by the masters of Kosiv region using the technique of "dry" wood carving. The name is inspired by the image of mountain pastures, where shepherds have long stopped to pray before a long day of grazing their flocks — the silence of the mountains and the humble wooden cross were their only church under the open sky.
Such a cross looks equally dignified in church rituals in the Temple and as a home amulet and symbol of faith in every household.
