The journey from wool to finished blanket

At the core of the blanket is the wool of Carpathian sheep: it is washed, dried, and carded with a comb to a fluffy state, and then spun in a trough for the loom. The woven fabric is immersed in "valilo" — there, a powerful stream of water rotates the fabric for several hours, making it tight and dense. After this, the blanket is dried on rods and brushed for final softness.

Care

Air out in the fresh air once a season, avoiding direct sunlight.

Clean using a dry method or gentle hand washing in cool water.

Dry in a laid-out form, away from heating batteries.
