The Hutsuls call the forested mountains without an open summit a “Kichera” — a hidden yet reliable strength of the mountain ridge. “Kichera” is a belt with the same hidden logic: it is wide at the back, 15 cm, providing support across the back, and narrows to 7 cm at the front, allowing for more freedom of movement and not hindering bending or sitting. This is a thoughtful solution for those who wear a belt not for show, but for work and long transitions.

The master needs an accurate waist measurement at the level of the navel. To this measurement, an additional 10 cm is added for adjusting the belt on both sides. If the waist circumference exceeds 120 cm, the cost increases — this is taken into account in the “from 120 cm” option.
The asymmetric width is the main advantage of the “Kichera”: the wide back part provides noticeable support for the lower back, while the narrower front does not press when bending and does not hinder movement. This is a practical option for everyday wear, work, or long travels, while also having a restrained Hutsul character in the details.
