Keptar is a sleeveless fur hood, which has been used by the people of the Carpathians and the Carpathians since ancient times. They are made of sheepskin and decorated with colored garlic, woolen, tin plated, ciliated cotton lace and stomach.

Keptar has significant local variability in terms of length and decoration.

Often, a captan is made of one sheepskin, which bends in half, and a cut for the neck is made on the fold, and the cavities for the hands remain on the sides. From the neck half the skin is cut along the middle, forming two front poly. Sometimes jackets are sewn from two hides. Then they have upholstered barrels. Seams are always decorated.

For decoration use:

    colored sapphires, which are stitched mainly in the form of teeth along the edges and seams;

stubs, which are surrounded by a captar;

"Volitka" - wool;

"Spike lace" - a woven cotton lace;

"Capsules" - tin rings, which they are stuffed over the teeth of sapian;

"Kits" - colored woolen buttons that adorn the ends of the saphenic teeth;

"Rachki" (sometimes "guys") - symmetrical figurines of colored sapign, reminiscent of the form of crayfish, they are placed in the corners of captar;

"Kukheri" ("Kachuri") - curly hairpieces made of peanuts, embroidered with yarn, with "drops" and "kits", twisted upwards.

"Silent" - interlaced strips of black leather;

"Pigtails" - ornaments of multicolored wool arrow-shaped, reminiscent of braiding braids;

"Rifles" - circles of sapign with semicircular teeth, decorated with "capsules";

"Chopped" - stylized flowers, formed by the circles of sapphire with teeth and "capsules" in combination with embroidered branches.

"Davomovysi", "empty", "pogodi" - the tassels, which tie the captara, and then thrown over their shoulders, and they hang on their backs.
