Sardak is a type of shoulder garment with sleeves, made from red and black wool, of tunic-like cut. It is decorated along the collar, flaps, hem, and sleeve edges with twisted cord in the form of appliqué or knots (pompoms). The sardak has small slits or wedges on the sides, straight, quite wide sleeves, and a low standing or turned-down collar. Men's sardaks are shorter than women's.
