Kephtar is a sleeveless fur coat that has been used by the population of the Carpathians and Precarpathia since ancient times. It is made from sheep leather and decorated with colored leather, wool, tin discs, corn cotton cord, and fur.
The kephtar has significant local variability in terms of length and design techniques. It is characterized by symmetrical placement of decor with a preference for geometric patterns. In terms of decoration style, it is divided into Kosiv, Kosmach, Verkhovyna, and Nadvirna styles.
Замовили цей Святковий кептар разом із Святковою кресанею для нашого директора, з Німеччини, бо він полюбляє національні вбрання, і навіть має невеличку колекцію з різних країн.
