Kalytko Anatoliy
Anatoliy Mykolayovych Kalytko is a deserved artist of Ukraine and an associate professor. In 1971, he graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute with a qualification of "artist-teacher, drawing and painting instructor, art education methodologist". Since 2002, he has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. He has been working fruitfully in the field of higher art education in Ukraine. During his 50 years of pedagogical activity, he has prepared professional artists recognized in Ukraine, trained over a hundred artists, teachers, and instructors of art disciplines in educational institutions. The teaching methodology of Associate Professor Kalytko is based on his own skills and experience and is combined with traditional principles of Ukrainian trends in visual arts. He has published 16 scientific and educational-methodical works, including 4 in professional scientific publications of Ukraine's department, which highlight important issues of teaching painting, drawing, and composition. He has been awarded the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine's "Excellence in Education of Ukraine" badge (2002), the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Ukraine's award "For many years of fruitful work in the field of culture" (2011), Honorary Diplomas of the Ukrainian Culture Fund (2007, 2010), the Jubilee Medal of the Ukrainian Culture Fund (2012), Honorary Diploma of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine (2012), and the Diploma of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (2012). For significant creative achievements and high professional skills, he was awarded the honorary title of "Deserved Artist of Ukraine" (2013). In 2016, he was confirmed as an associate professor. The artist's creative activity is aimed at promoting Ukrainian cultural traditions. He presents the visual arts of the Hutsul region in Ukraine and the world (Romania, Poland, Hungary, Russia, the United States) extremely productively. His creative work includes over 500 easel paintings: landscape, still life, portrait. He has authored 25 solo exhibitions, including at the Central House of Artists of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (Kyiv, 2007), the Ukrainian Culture Fund (Kyiv, 2007, 2010), the National Museum of Hutsul and Pokuttya Folk Art named after Y. Kobrynsky (Kolomyia, 2002, 2017), the Picture Gallery (Kamianets-Podilskyi, 2006), the Kosiv Museum of Folk Art and Life of the Hutsul Region (Kosiv, 2001, 2004, 2008, 2015), the Kosiv Regional Organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (2012), the Cultural Center of Ukraine in Moscow (2008), and the Museum of Ethnography and Ecology of the Carpathian Region (Yaremche, 2020). He has participated in all-Ukrainian exhibitions, international plein airs, and symposiums (Gurzuf, Istanbul, Sukhumi, Odesa, Yaremche, Sedniv). Numerous publications in scientific collections and journals inform about the artist's pedagogical and creative work. Albums have been prepared and published: Anatoliy Kalytko.
