HUCUL — 15 years of bringing the spirit of the Carpathians into every home in Ukraine
In 2011, in the very heart of Hutsulshchyna — the town of Kosiv, — the idea was born: to gather under one roof masters who still remember how their ancestors wove, knitted, and forged. Since then, 15 years have passed, and today HUCUL offers over 900 handmade products from dozens of family workshops in Kosiv and throughout Hutsulshchyna.
We are not a factory or a mass conveyor. Each item in our catalog has the name of the master who created it and a story that can be felt by touch.
Carpets and weavings — weaving of Kosiv
Brass decorations — casting and engraving
Caps and sarcophagi — sewing and embroidery of Hutsulshchyna
'Khramovyi' cap — richly decorated with leather
Traditional Hutsul accessories
15 years in numbers
- 2011 — the year HUCUL.if.ua was founded in Kosiv
- 15 years of continuous work with the masters of Hutsulshchyna
- 900+ products handmade in the catalog right now
- Dozens of family workshops — from weaving looms to brass casting
What is hidden in each HUCUL workshop
- Weaving and textiles — Hutsul bedspreads, carpets, weavings, and runners made of wool, hand-woven on looms
- Brass workshop — cast brass decorations, zghardas, and pendants with Carpathian patterns
- Hutsul clothing — caps, sarcophagi, embroidered shirts, and folk costumes from Kosiv
- Leather — belts and straps, hand-pressed, with characteristic Hutsul patterns
- Ceramics, wood, and egg painting — traditional crafts that live in everyday items
In 15 years, we have never replaced manual labor with machine production — even when demand grew. This is HUCUL's principled position: better fewer products than lost authenticity.
We deliver a piece of the Carpathians to any city in Ukraine — so that the spirit of the mountains settles in your home, just as it has in thousands of homes over these 15 years.
